Honey Fungus (Armillariella mellea) are a Glow in the Dark Edible!  Unfortunatly they are parasitic and so they can kill your trees and shrubs.  Please sterilize any cultures before discarding.  Everything Mushrooms will not release this culture in any other form because of the potential hazard.    Having said that....  Also known as Pidpenky these mushrooms are highly prized by eastern Europeans for their flavor.  The fungus continues to grow after tree has been killed so they can be fruited on wood substrates.  Both mycelium and mushrooms are weakly bio-luminescent.

The culture offered here was cloned from a specimen collected in our Southern Mountains.

*Note: Culture supplied as living mycelium in a test tube slant. Culture can be stored under refrigeration for several months. Slants are best suited for long distance travel, international shipments, or long term culture storage. To ensure freshness of culture, requests are made to order, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing and shipment.

PARASITIC SPECIES: Please use extreme caution before introducing this culture to the environment!
